REQUIRED SCREENINGS
A background check, immunizations and drug screening are required
by all clinical facilities prior to your participation. Please note, that this fee is not included in your tuition.
Criminal Background Screening
Each student must have a criminal background screening completed. Please download the Sheriff Release Record below, complete it, and go to the Knox County Sheriff's department. They will complete the screening ($15) and provide the report to you. Bring a copy of the screening back to ETTC.
TB Skin Test
Each student must provide ETTC with a clear TB skin test completed within the last 12 months. You can get a 1-step TB Skin test at the local health department or at a physician's office of your preference. If the test results are positive, a clear Chest X-Ray (with lab report) is required.
We utilize the American Red Cross curriculum, the gold standard in Nurse Assistant Training.
